Vendor opportunities for markets in Chamberbrook

The Friends of Pollard Park are hosting family-friendly outdoor events for the summer and are seeking a variety of vendors who can support Chamberbrook's mission of renowned hospitality and commitment to unforgettable experiences for all ages.

Select Sundays from 12-5PM will feature an International Market at Pollard Park (900 West Brookland Park Blvd).

The first Saturday of the month from 5-10PM will feature a Night Market in Hope Alley (behind Chamberlayne Ave.)

We are looking for the following type of businesses to participate:

Community gathering

Friends of Pollard Park are hosting a Spring Fling on Saturday, April 16 at 11am. Join us, neighbors, and our community partners in this free outdoor event.

A food truck will be available on-site, cash only. Children's activities include a bounce egg and an Easter egg hunt. Bringing your own blankets and chairs are encouraged.

We'll be looking to hear from everyone about the upcoming Arts & Business district and share the vision for Chamberbrook.

Chamberbrook Arts and Business District Mini Grant

The Chamberbrook Business & Arts District Grants are NOW OPEN. We are excited to award up to 5 grant recipients a $5000 Business Resurgence Grant. The deadline for submission is Monday, March 27, 2022 5:00 p.m. (EST) .

The active grant period is April 8 - December 31, 2022. Full participation is required for ALL award recipients who show exemplary leadership and inspiration in developing Chamberbrook through transformative placemaking, economic development and strengthening community relationships.

CHAMBERBROOK BUSINESS & ARTS DISTRICT COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT KICKOFF MEETING

On March 5, 2022, the project team held a virtual kickoff community meeting to review the vision for the Chamberbrook Business and Arts District, explore upcoming Chamberbrook Business Resurgence Grant opportunities, and discover how community members and business owners can get engaged.

About Chamberbrook:
Chamberbrook Business & Arts District of North Side RVA engages international entrepreneurs, artists, business owners and all neighbors who are interested in building community.

As a grassroots effort, community partners and designers have been collaborating on Chamberbrook since 2018. As a recent Virginia Statewide Business District Resurgence Grant Recipient, Real Chances, Inc., is partnering with Storefront for Community Design, FORM Coalition, Hanbury, Tactile Studio and, The LIFT Group, to kick off community engagement to create a unique sense of place rooted in community and culture.
